The MikroTik RouterBoard hAP (RB951Ui-2nD) wireless router is the perfect device for homes or small offices where a combination of wireless clients, such as smartphones and laptops, and wired devices, such as desktops and storage devices, require easy, reliable connectivity. The MikroTik hAP features a built-in 2.4GHz access point and five Ethernet ports, making it an ideal choice for WISPs to install in client premises.
The hAP can be powered from the DC power jack or with the included PoE Injector. The hAP arrives pre-configured, so all users need to do, is plug in the internet cable, the power, and start using the internet. For advanced set-up and configuration, the device runs RouterOS, a powerful operating system with a large range of robust features.
The MikroTik hAP provides PoE output function for port #5 – it can power other PoE-capable devices with the same voltage as applied to the unit. Maximum load on the port is 500mA.
